I've always like Triumph motorcycles and this one
didn't disappoint.

The Melrose Missile 1963 Plymouth Savoy was in the stock eliminator class
and was sponsored by Melrose Motors.

This Chevy II called 'Chevy 2 Much' was built by legendary header
builder 'Doug Throley', and was one of the first altered wheelbase funny
cars ever.

As you can see, Candies and Hughes had a Funny Car too, and it was just as
beautiful as their Top Fuel car.
