The rotor nut isn't as shiny now, but it shouldn't rust either.

I used some 1 1/4" long screws to hold the mounting hardware on, which
goes into the hardwood for even more strength.

The contrasting fasteners look nice and the brass hands match as well.

I had fun making these clocks and I might make two more in the near
future. Now it's time to give these clocks away (no pun intended).
