This 57 Ford pickup had a Chevy motor
in it but it sat very low in the engine compartment. With the nice
simple one color paint, very clean interior, this was one nice
truck.

Remember the days when there were
still drive-in movie theaters? With the speaker wire running out of the
window connected to that stand, it reminded me of days when you could
drive into a theater and take a car load of friends along. And with a Cadillac
like this which has a huge trunk, you could take even more people in.
But the real show began was when you brought a girl, and then the
windows got fogged up. I had some good times back then.

Here you can see Hananleia's right
behind this row of cars. The place is small but the food is pretty
good.

Larry wanted this spot (which was
a handicapped space) so I took the space right next to him. It was
kinda nice being the first ones there because we could choose most any
space we wanted.

This sticker is on the rear window of Larry's car.
Bart, (our painter) made this in memory of Gary Lambert and all the
members in the "Shifters Car Club" have them. I think they look
really good.
