I believe this was a Packard and by the looks it was a
generals car.
|
|
This picture was sitting in the back seat so I reached in and took the
shot. I have no idea who anyone is or what it represents, I just thought
it was cool.
|
|
Speaking of taking the shot, check out this guys camera equipment. And the
one hanging from his neck is pretty nice too. I'd say this guy has more
money in his tripod than I do in my little point and shoot
camera....wow!

Gotta love the stickers people put on their vehicles.

These are the T-6 trainers which finally flew around 12:00 that
day.
|
|
All of the aircraft were behind schedule so everyone had to shorten their
flight times.
|
|
There are five airplanes below if you look close. To see a group of four
T-6 trainers (because one of them had trouble catching up before I took
this shot) click the link below.

There were a few stunt planes flying that day but I only caught a couple
on video. To see a short video of two planes click on the link

We had a good time and some good food but the weather did play a roll with
the air show and with the amount of cars that day. We heard that
Riverside may not have this show again next year so we'll have to wait and see.
|
|
I won an award that day for Best Paint which was very much appreciated. I
hope they have this show again next year because it's much more than
just a car show and we both really like it.
