Here is the rear-end which is a
narrowed 9" Ford. It has a 4:56 gear ratio with a Pos-unit to make
sure both tires spin at the same time. This way you get more power to
the ground. It also come with 31 spline axels which are made by
Currie.
This is one strong setup.

Just a look at the back which shows
off the 4 link brackets and the hardware on the ends. Speaking of the
ends, I ordered this chassis with 4 wheel disc brakes. So what's with
the brake shoes on the ends?

Well this might look like a drum brake
setup at first glance but it's just the emergency brake that goes into
the rear disc rotors. You can see a close up of the rotor on the next page so
you can see what I'm talking about. The bracket that's up top with a
gold colored insert in it is where the brake caliper will bolt to. The
other black bracket to the left of the other one is for the e/brake
cable.
You can also see in this pix the 4 link bracket.
The hole on top is for the top bar and the other two holes are for the
bottom bar. You only get one setting on top and two on bottom. In
between the 4 link bracket and the e/brake is where the coil over shocks
will mount.

This 9" Ford rear-end is one
massive piece and is very heavy. I don't think I'll be able to brake it
(as I reach over and knock on wood :] )
