I went to a show on Nov. 11 over at Bob's Big Boy which ran from 2:00 to
5:00 pm in Calimesa. This show is for pre 1980's cars and trucks and has
raffle, 50/50 drawing, games and a D.J. playing oldies music.
Larry and I arrived over an hour and a half early (to get a good
spot) but I guess we should have left earlier because all of the regular
parking spots were taken. We ended up parking along the curb, which isn't
a bad spot, it's just something we're not use to doing. Before the start of the
show, the entire parking area was packed and some people had to park on
the outside of the show area if they wanted their car seen. I've never
seen this many cars show up at this show before, but then again, this would be
the last show held here for the year.
By the time 2:00 rolled around, we were ready to settle in and enjoy the show
now that the cars were cleaned along with our pockets being stuffed with raffle tickets. And
everyone was wondering if the weather would hold out or not because as
the day went on, the wind started to blow and then the clouds rolled in.
Lucky for us, it didn't rain. In this shot you can see a full house of
cars lining every square inch of the Bob's Big Boy parking lot.
