Working With Wood Continued
I bought some wooden dowel material that were 48 inches long and I'm
cutting them to the length I need here.
At the left is the top and I didn't go all the way
through with my dowel holes. But on the right is the bottom piece
which I did go though. This way I can have the wood dowel locate two
pieces with one dowel, which is much easier than two shorter dowels.
I made sure the dots were aligned with the corners so each piece would
line up with each other.
Next I glued and clamped them together. Note: the square piece on the
left (against my clamp) is only a clamp plate to help distribute the load on the feet.

After talking to my daughter, she wanted me to use satin clear on this
project.

It's Finished
Here are two of the 12 that I made, with these being the larger ones.

Two more of the larger ones.
I like the fact that you can't see any fasteners.
Two of the mid size.
Mid size again here. Now it's time to revisit the coaster project.
